no blake yet!

My lack of posting isn't because I'm in the hospital...it's because I have nothing to blog about! :) I do go to the doctor tomorrow and am praying she's says I've dilated some!

Anyway, a friend sent me a package in the mail today from Cutesy Cloths!!! It was a fun surprise!! Can I just say that Michelle does an AWESOME job! I'm so impressed. So if you are looking for a baby gift (and I don't mean for me!) that isn't overpriced...you totally need to check out her site!!

dr. visit and andrew

My doctor apt. went well yesterday. She said I'm either 70% or 80% effaced. I really can't remember. I just know that I was having some good contractions after that visit yesterday. She did say she didn't think Blake would be here this week. That is fine with me. I'm only 37 weeks and would like to wait another week....however, I don't want to go 4 days late!!! With Andrew I was induced and honestly...I didn't mind it one bit. No complications at all. I find it funny that people ask me if I think I will go into labor with Blake or be induced. Now, how the heck am I supposed to know that?

back home

We're home! We've been home...and I still haven't unpacked my bag or caught the laundry up. I just am too tired and have no desire. Guess that means little Blake won't be here this week since I'm not nesting!

We did have a nice visit at my sister's. It was nice of her to put up with us for the whole week! I'm sure we got on her nerves at some point!! I will say it was SO nice having family around. Andrew loved playing with his cousins and didn't care if I was even around! Ahh...the freedom!

I go to the Dr. tomorrow. After all I've eaten in the past week...I can't wait to weigh in!! Maybe she'll tell me I've dilated!! a girl can dream!

here's what we've been up to...

I've found something to entertain my child for a while...

give him a rag and he goes to town cleaning. My in-laws are coming in this evening and the boys have been cleaning house. I did what I could and left the rest for Matt. Aren't I sweet? :)

And here's me at 35 weeks. I'm thinking this will be my last post of myself. I REALLY don't like seeing how big I am. So, those of you who have asked to see belly pics, this is it!

I had another big ultrasound last week and found out how much Blake weighs.... 5 lbs. 7 oz. He's gonna be another biggin'. I was hoping he would be smaller than Andrew but I bet he won't ...guess we'll see in 5 weeks!

We are also traveling to Shreveport on Monday for the whole week. How thrilled am I? Matt has to go for work and instead of being here all week with Andrew by myself, I got the OK from my Dr. to go. I'm REALLY not looking forward to the drive there and back! I have no plans of doing anything except veggin' out at my sister's. She's going to put up with us all week. I'm sure she will be ready for us to leave!!! So, that's it from here! Enjoy your weekend!

is my child normal?? :)

So for those of you that have/had a one and a half year old...would your child sit and just play with his/her toys for long? Andrew will go in his room and play for a bit but he will get bored and come get me or Matt to come play with him. That's usually how it goes...he plays for a bit by himself and then wants one of us to play with him. Matt thinks he should entertain himself for a while. Matt's mom says that Matt would sit and play with his toys ALL day long. I've tried to tell Matt that that's not normal! :) So, for you mom's out there...will you please explain to my wonderful hubby that most children don't just sit all day long and play with their toys...or am I wrong?

i'm done!!!!!

Yep! I'm done! Today was my last day working up at church. I'm SO glad! Granted I only worked maybe 5 hours a week but I was definitely losing my patience up there. Too many sick and crying kiddos. I will be enjoying my last month of this pregnancy doing NOTHING..well, entertaining Andrew...and family. We have some family coming in this weekend and maybe next week. Anyway, just had to share that I'm done and thrilled....now I'm going to nap!

I didn't take any pictures of Andrew getting his Easter basket so I figured I would post a picture we took before church. Good thing I didn't buy him a jon jon this year because it was COLD here...as I'm sure it was (and is) everywhere else!! I had all to do to find ME something to wear!!

Andrew got a pool and book from the Easter bunny. He didn't really care about them as he was too busy playing with the eggs....of course he kept calling them balls!

Anyway, hope you all had a great Easter!!

Today Jennifer P. and Benjamin came over. (I didn't get a signed permission slip to put Benjamin's picture on here so I hope she doesn't mind.) He is such a cutie and has grown so much since the last time I've seen him!!! We had a such a nice time. I sure wish we lived closer!!

(Okay, someone asked me if they should know who Jennifer is. I didn't want to put her full name on here but her maiden name was Kracht. You do the math!)

bummer

So the last couple of days have been pretty blah. I woke up at 2:30 AM Friday morning sick to my stomach. I HATE throwing up and have been very blessed to have had such easy pregnancies with no morning sickness. Now I'm just praying that Andrew doesn't get it because I REALLY don't want to deal with that again!!! grrr

We are supposed to have our neighborhood Easter egg hunt at the clubhouse today, but I'm thinking it's going to be canceled. It's done nothing but rain all morning...bummer!!! It would have been Andrew's first time to go and I was curious as to what he would do. They have the Easter bunny coming and the jumping stuff. Oh well, he probably would have just thrown a fit about something and we probaly would have left early.

My only good news is that I'm finished working up at church April 11th!! I'm definitely looking forward to it...especially after getting sick yesterday morning. I'm ready to enjoy my last month of doing nothing before Blake gets here!!
