bummer

So the last couple of days have been pretty blah. I woke up at 2:30 AM Friday morning sick to my stomach. I HATE throwing up and have been very blessed to have had such easy pregnancies with no morning sickness. Now I'm just praying that Andrew doesn't get it because I REALLY don't want to deal with that again!!! grrr

We are supposed to have our neighborhood Easter egg hunt at the clubhouse today, but I'm thinking it's going to be canceled. It's done nothing but rain all morning...bummer!!! It would have been Andrew's first time to go and I was curious as to what he would do. They have the Easter bunny coming and the jumping stuff. Oh well, he probably would have just thrown a fit about something and we probaly would have left early.

My only good news is that I'm finished working up at church April 11th!! I'm definitely looking forward to it...especially after getting sick yesterday morning. I'm ready to enjoy my last month of doing nothing before Blake gets here!!

33 weeks...

and counting!! I'm getting big and uncomfortable these days. I would say I'm ready for Blake to get here...but I'm not ready to lose sleep again!! I know, I'm selfish! Some have asked what I look like these days. So here ya go...just don't make fun...KAREN! You can also see a glimpse of what Blake's room looks like.

ideas needed

Some girls in my Sunday school class are giving us a diapers and wipes shower this weekend. I need some ideas as to what to give the hostesses. Any ideas???? All I can think of is something from Bath and Body Works. Thanks!

a little outdoor fun

Andrew helped Daddy water the lawn today. Most people use a sprinkler...we'll just be using our kids. And yes, he was SOAKED when he finished.

daddy's boy

Yep, my boy has turned into a daddy's boy! It makes me sad. I used to be the one who would brush his teeth, read him his books, sing songs with him, do silly games with him, dance with him...and now he wants his daddy to do it all with him!! I know I should enjoy it and hopefully he will still want his daddy when Blake gets here...but it just makes me sad!

Today we FINALLY took Andrew to the duck pond. We've been saying we were going to take him and since the weather was beautiful, we decided to go today. Andrew enjoyed the ducks...or "gucks" as he says.

At first there were just a few ducks around. Once we started feeding them..they came out of nowhere!

He finally got the hang of it and actually started throwing the bread. He would throw it quickly because they would try to grab it out of his hand! They were attacking me because I had the bag of bread. I think I had as much fun as Andrew!!

rodeo and outlet mall....

Today we decided to take Andrew to the Houston Rodeo. We were excited about him seeing all the animals. We got there early...along with the rest of Houston. The place was packed! I couldn't believe how many schools were there. I don't think I would want my children to go with their school. The place was a zoo!!!! There is no possible way to keep up with those kiddos.

Anyway, Andrew did get to go to the petting zoo. He loved it! Here are some pics...

and on this poor kid. Obviously he went in with his daddy because I would not have let him even pick that stuff up!!! Guess all that matters is he had fun.

After leaving the rodeo we headed to Katy Mills Mall. I think Matt did this on purpose. He knew I would be too tired to really shop....and he was right! I'm glad to be home now with my feet up! It was a long ...but fun day.

the big 3-0

Yep, I hit the big 3-0 in my pregnancy this week. I can't believe I only have 10 weeks left. Guess time flies when your having fun!!

Lately I've been pretty tired and have been napping nearly every day. I've definitely been slacking on my duties around the house. However, my wonderful hubby has been picking up the slack...without complaining! Well, if he's complaining it's not to me! :)

We still have things we need to get and Blake's room to finish before he gets here. Guess I need to get on the ball. I'm just not motivated!! Oh well! Here's a better view of the belly!

weekend fun

This past weekend I rode with Jennifer Massey to Dallas. We were helping throw a shower for Jill. It was so great seeing friends I haven't seen in years!!! I wish we could have stayed and visited longer...but duty calls!

a fun day

Well, I had my Dr. apt. today and everything looks good! I'm able to travel to Dallas this weekend and am very excited. I'm dreading the drive...but hopefully Jennifer will make it go by quickly!!!

After my appointment we went to The Children's Museum. I think Matt had just as much fun as Andrew!! I sat my happy butt down and just watched the boys. These pics are from my phone....
