boys and apples

These boys are a mess! Some days they drive me bonkers and others they crack me up. They've been all into having their picture taken while they act goofy.

They get so excited to show Daddy what they've made that it actually makes it more fun. I just hope I have the energy to keep up with it the next couple of months.

weekend with jill!!!

This past weekend Jill came in for a visit!! Mandy and Kristi were supposed to come in, but they had some stuff come up. Kristi, you are excused since you were just here. Mandy, we need to talk! :)

We started off the weekend visiting Jennifer and her girls!

The girls are getting so big! Last time I saw them they were only a month old or so. They are six months now and definitely at a fun age!

I'm holding J and Jill is holding E. J was about to take a bath...she does have clothes! Don and Matt were awesome and let us have some girl time. I definitely needed the girl time!!Before Jill left we headed to the spa for some pampering...definitely much needed too!!

I didn't get ANY other pics!! Jenn sent me these! Anyway, it was a good visit!! Thanks for coming to see us, Jill!!! The boys enjoyed your attention too!! Come see us again!!

life around here

Well, Katherine left almost a week ago and we were sad to see her leave. Andrew really was. He cried and cried. He wanted to go stay at their house. If they lived closer...I would have packed his bags!! :)I thought this was funny...Blake fell asleep with his trains from the Big Loader. Guess he likes them watching him sleep!

Then we worked on the letter A. This is really for Blake, but Andrew enjoyed it too. Can you tell which A is Blake's? Not sure why it's sideways.

Then we made an alligator out of the letter A. I got the idea from the No Time for Flash Cards blog. I'm too lazy to link it right now.

almost 25 weeks

Well, I'm almost 25 weeks and I'm definitely ready for the cooler weather! This has been the summer of tanks for me. My poor niece has been here a week and it's all I've worn. It's just too durn hot to wear anything else.

Not sure if you can click on this picture, but I'm definitely carrying this baby differently. She is SO low and my back feels it! My doctor keeps telling me I'm right on target and measure to my week, but I sure don't feel like it!

little update and pool fun

I'm still here....just not much to blog about...it's too hot to do anything!!

I think I'm 25 weeks. Is that sad that I don't know? Poor baby girl is already being neglected. She still doesn't have a name yet. No, we aren't keeping it a secret, we just haven't committed to anything yet. They boys have names they like, but I'm trying to figure out what I like.

I've finally found her bedding! I'm so excited! I've been looking for months now! When I order it I'll post a pic...because then it will be official! We haven't even started on her room yet. We'll probably do that next month. I've got to clean out that room! And no, the boys won't be sharing. I don't know if I could handle that!

I'm completely exhausted these days and this heat isn't helping matters. ug! My niece is here and will be here all this week. It's nice having her around to play with the boys. They definitely fight over her attention.

Andrew turned 4 Thursday!

We celebrated with a family party. It was funny though because he asked me if his friends were coming over. :( It was hard to plan a party on or around his birthday this year because of Matt's schedule. Hopefully we'll be able to pull something off early August.

He did enjoy opening all his presents...

and eating his Diego cupcake!He had MDO that day so we took some cupcakes to share with his friends. I think he had a good birthday. He keeps asking me when his next birthday is. :) He takes after his mommy!!

I really can't believe it's been 4 years already. I keep thinking one more year and he'll be in Kindergarten! I always say I can't wait...my house will be so quiet, but I know when it gets here I'll be sad. He definitely keeps me on my toes with the silly things he says and does, the 500 questions he asks daily and the nonstop talking! He's a mess!

4th

This was a very fun and busy weekend. I'm SERIOUSLY worn out!

Saturday morning started out our 4th at a parade in The Woodlands. The boys had fun, but it was SO hot!

They each got a flag, but weren't sure what they were supposed to do with them. I was surprised they didn't turn them into swords at some point!
Blake had the best seat!

After the parade we all napped and headed to a friend's for dinner. Between 5 couples there were 13 kids! They had fun tho.
Matt got some training in for his baby girl! :) Trinity was pretty content with him. Chowin' down!

When we got home, Kristi was at our house! I didn't get ANY pics. Kristi, you'll have to send me some! The boys were TOTAL show-offs for her!

At 9PM we headed to the fireworks! Andrew has been DYING to see fireworks, so we knew we had to go. They both really enjoyed it.

We also enjoyed our visit with Kristi and hope she'll come back in two weeks with Jill! Andrew cried when she left. :( It was nice to just chill and visit with her today.

that in every picture...I have no idea! He's been attached to his "bobbles" lately. He's worn them the past 2 days solid! Gotta love that boy!

MDO

The boys had MDO today. They are only going 6 times this summer...doesn't seem like much, but it's a much needed break for me!

I was hesitant to send Blake because he really needs his nap. They do nap up there, but I figured he wouldn't sleep. Well, was I wrong! He did great! His teacher said he had a great day and even napped! I'm so glad!

Andrew had a good day too. He hates resting tho, but he fell asleep! We've been so busy lately that I think all our running around and going to the pool caught up with him. He RARELY takes a nap! I can't wait for next Thursday! :)

Aren't their shirts ADORABLE! I had more people stop us about them. Cutesy Cloths always does an amazing job!

Matt had worked a night shift and instead of taking a nap in bed (because he didn't have to work that night), he thought he could catch a few zzzz's on the couch. WRONG!
