Today Matt carved our pumpkin. Andrew didn't have much to do with it. He didn't like all the "dirtiness" that it had inside it!

Andrew is SO excited about trick-or-treating! I'm SO excited about having candy in my house..NOT! Andrew has a couple of friends coming over to go with him. We were going to do dinner and then go but Blake woke up with and ear infection and croup this morning. Hopefully he'll be feeling okay to at least hit one house!!

awww poor baby. hope he feels better soon. jack has a cold and cough, so i hope it doesn't get worse. guess that junk is going around. i have never ever carved a pumpkin - maybe next year we'll do one. josh would do something crazy though i bet!

Dude, buy some carving utensils. Matt would have had that done in no time. Creative work, by the way, the diamond nose really shows the time spent on that face.:O

jill, sorry i'm just now seeing your comment. usually i get emails letting me know i have comments on here but i never did for any of these. anyway, blake was a lion and he hated his hat. :) of course matt thought he looked like an indian. i'll post pics later.
lol - HOW does it go from lion to indian?? maybe matt was smoking some good indian stuff...

i roasted some pumpkin seeds for emily's class...i used butter, sugar and a little bit of cinnamon. it tasted like popcorn! i'll be doing more roasting. :)
i should have roasted our seeds but i was too lazy! i wanted to do this math lesson w/ them too...but i was too lazy! oh well. there is always next year!
i did not know until recently that people rosted seeds. just to think of the yummy seeds we could have eaten all these years makes me sick. :)
well, next year i'll have to get that info from you...if i remember!
