VBS

This week is VBS. The boys and I had to take our yearly VBS pic! Andrew didn't get a shirt this year because they were out of xs. Thankfully he was content with wearing his old shirt.

I LOVE trying to get a decent pic with these boys...well, really Andrew! (not!) This was a better pic of the boys...not too sure what I'm doing tho. This year I'm not teaching. I'm working in the crawler/walker class. We only have 5 kids and 3 adults...but it's kicking my butt! I'm seriously exhausted when I get home and I'm hardly doing anything!! Pretty weak, I know! The boys are REALLY enjoying VBS tho and that makes me happy!!

i heart destin!!

Well, I've been slacking on here because we've been on vacation. Last week we went to Destin with Matt's family. It was GORGEOUS! It's been so long since I've been to Destin. I really don't remember the water being this clear! All I can do is talk about going back...but unfortunately that won't be until the baby is old enough to enjoy it.

I worried how the boys would do. We went to Gulf Shores when Andrew was 1 and it was a lot of work...and he didn't really love the beach. Well, this time, the boys had a blast. They were at a great age. The enjoyed digging in the sand and playing in the water. Blake also enjoyed snacking on the beach! We'd go to the beach every morning, come back for nap and then head back out after nap. I even got to go back to the beach some when the boys were napping. THAT was so relaxing!! I seriously could have spent all day every day out there!
We had fun with Matt's family. Cousin Jack helped entertain my boys!! :) We also got to see Keri and Keith while we were there. This was the only pic I got because I left my camera in the car. It was great seeing them tho. Wish we lived closer!
I'm definitely have beach withdrawal! It was definitely a great trip and was good to see family!!

Andrew and I had a day at the Y with our preschool friends from church. Our church rented out the Y so we had it all to ourselves. It was so nice.

last day of preschool

Today was Andrew's last day of preschool. :( I definitely have mixed feelings about it. I haven't been feeling well lately and it's been a chore getting him to school. So, it will be nice to veg at home in the mornings for a bit if I need to...is what I keep telling myself.

Andrew LOVED school and his teachers. He really blossomed this year and all his teachers told me how he has really come out of his shell (which we could tell) and just really matured this year. He did really well and even improved on his evaluation!

Splash Day was today so we went up and had lunch with Andrew. Even Daddy, who got off work at 7 AM, cut his nap short so he could join us! Andrew was excited to see us!

Afterwards the kids were running around playing and Blake was right there with them. He thinks he's such a big kid!

pool and prego update

Today we finally got the boys a new pool. I was worried it was going to be too big but I think it's just right. On the box the dinosaurs head stands up, but as you can tell by the picture...not so much! The boys didn't mind tho.

They did have a blast going down the slide a million times!

I'm 13 1/2 weeks these days. I really thought that I'd have all this energy, but I'm still pretty tired. I'm not nearly as sick as I was, but I do have my days. I'm thinking this baby will be healthy tho...I've been craving pineapples, oranges and chicken salad. I have NO idea why the chicken salad...oh and swiss rolls. Okay, so maybe the baby won't be THAT healthy! I'm also already showing! I don't remember when I started showing with the boys but it didn't seem this early. If I hadn't already had 3 ultrasounds, I might think I was having twins!!! Guess I'll just chalk it up to a third pregnancy.

Well, these boys have had a busy weekend and were up late last night. So, I'm off to get them to bed!

bike boys

Here are the boys on their new bikes. The CARS one is actually Andrew's that he got at Christmas from Matt's parents. We hadn't put it together yet because it was too cold. So, both the boys got to enjoy their new bikes together. We figured it would be a big fight since they were different but so far they have surprisingly done really well sharing them!Andrew caught on right away. Blake, not so much! :) We figured it would be hard for him at first. Hopefully he'll be a pro at the end of the summer!!

I look forward to the day they can ride their bikes to the Splash Pad!

Blake was SO embarrassed when everyone was singing to him! It was funny. He blew the candles out so fast, I didn't even get a pic! And, the boy didn't even TOUCH the cupcake...okay, we'll he touched it, but wouldn't eat it! Don't worry...I didn't let it go to waste! :) I'm not sure if Blake is really our child...he doesn't really like sweets!?!?!?! Andrew with M & K scarfing down their cupcakes and ice cream!

Blake had a very fun day! He keeps telling me..."Mommy, Happy Birthday to you?" I think he thinks we should celebrate his birthday all week or something. Hmmm...wonder where he gets that from!!

vacation #2

Yep, we went on ANOTHER vacation and we JUST got back from one! This vacation was for the boys!! This year everyone gets to choose their vacation...mine was AR, boys was Sea World, and Matt's will be in June when we go to Destin with his family. Then, we are DONE! I don't care for traveling while I'm prego!

Anyway, we took at two day trip to San Antonio. We got there Saturday and headed straight to the zoo. Their zoo is pretty good but a lot of the animals were gone or in their homes so we couldn't see them. I wasn't really digging the zoo this time.

All the kiddos...and no, we didn't plan the navy shirts.Sunday morning we headed to Sea World. Can I just say that getting to Sea World on Sunday right when it opens is the BEST time to get there!! It really didn't start to get busy until maybe 3 and even then it wasn't bad.

I love Sea World! Their shows are great and short enough to keep the boys entertained. I think there are only 3 shows to see but there is so much more to do. Blake enjoying the dolphin show.Shamu!!

We also road the Shamu roller coaster. I rode it with Andrew once and Daddy rode with him about 3 more times. Blake stood there crying. He wanted to ride it SO bad but he wasn't tall enough. I felt so bad for him because he would have loved it!

We also hung out at the indoor pool at the hotel. Blake was NOT afraid of the water! He is going to be a fish this summer. I hope I'm still able to take them to the pool by myself. He was a wild man!!!

I'm pretty sure the boys had a fun time. It's all they've talked about since we've been home!
