vacation #2

Yep, we went on ANOTHER vacation and we JUST got back from one! This vacation was for the boys!! This year everyone gets to choose their vacation...mine was AR, boys was Sea World, and Matt's will be in June when we go to Destin with his family. Then, we are DONE! I don't care for traveling while I'm prego!

Anyway, we took at two day trip to San Antonio. We got there Saturday and headed straight to the zoo. Their zoo is pretty good but a lot of the animals were gone or in their homes so we couldn't see them. I wasn't really digging the zoo this time.

All the kiddos...and no, we didn't plan the navy shirts.Sunday morning we headed to Sea World. Can I just say that getting to Sea World on Sunday right when it opens is the BEST time to get there!! It really didn't start to get busy until maybe 3 and even then it wasn't bad.

I love Sea World! Their shows are great and short enough to keep the boys entertained. I think there are only 3 shows to see but there is so much more to do. Blake enjoying the dolphin show.Shamu!!

We also road the Shamu roller coaster. I rode it with Andrew once and Daddy rode with him about 3 more times. Blake stood there crying. He wanted to ride it SO bad but he wasn't tall enough. I felt so bad for him because he would have loved it!

We also hung out at the indoor pool at the hotel. Blake was NOT afraid of the water! He is going to be a fish this summer. I hope I'm still able to take them to the pool by myself. He was a wild man!!!

I'm pretty sure the boys had a fun time. It's all they've talked about since we've been home!

vacation part 1

Last Monday we headed up to Arkansas for the week. The boys did great in the car. I was really worried about Blake because this was the first trip we've taken with him now that he's potty trained. He did great. Only one time...while we were in the middle of nowhere...he said he needed to potty. Thankfully, he held it until we found a gas station.

We had a lot of fun and were outside almost all day! The boys napped HARD! It was SO nice!!They did LOTS of fishing!

And picked some of Grandma's flowers. Andrew will make his wife happy some day. He loves to give me flowers!! Then one day we went to Lake Balboa. They had a beach area and the boys played. And by boys...I mean Matt.... Okay, so maybe Blake played too.

They had more fun looking for rocks tho. They loved to throw big rocks in the water!

We had a nice visit with my parents. I know they enjoyed my wild and crazy boys!!!

vacation part 2

On Saturday we went to see some of the Landrums. The boys had fun seeing Jack and playing with all his fun toys!! They played outside a lot and had a lot of fun with the bubbles! Posing with Daddy!!

Sunday we headed to Shreveport. I didn't get many pics for some reason. I guess because there was a lot of this going on...

and nobody gave me a turn! Not like I would no how to play!

We always enjoy our visit in Shreveport because my kids tend to just disappear! They have so many cousins there that entertain them...it's nice!

Monday Matt's sister, Rachel, came in. Didn't get any pics tho. She stayed the day and the boys enjoyed seeing her.

It rained on Monday and Andrew was DYING to go play in this huge puddle across the street. Go figure!

Tuesday we headed home. Didn't realize we were going to need a boat to get here. We sure did get a lot of rain while we were gone!

Anyway, we had a nice time and really enjoyed seeing everyone!

vacation time!!

On Monday we start our vacation!! I'm SO ready!! Matt's been working in the evenings and I HATE it! I hate having to do dinner, dishes and bathe the boys with no help. Just call me a spoiled brat!! So, I will be glad to have him around more. He's off the next 16 days, I think!

We head to AR on Monday and are staying the week with my parents. Saturday we'll spend the day with Matt's family. Then Sunday we'll be heading to Shreveport and heading home Tuesday morning. It will be nice to see family....and have other people entertaining my boys! We'll be home for a couple of days and then are heading to SEA WORLD! Andrew can't wait for Sea World either!!!

So, I would say I won't be blogging much but my blogging has slacked...so, you won't even know I'm gone!! :)

Yep, another post about B. Andrew isn't giving me much to work with these days. The only funny thing he likes to do is dress himself. I have no idea why! And I only let him do it at rest time.

On to Blakers...today we went to Old Navy to get Andrew some shark flip flops. Well, of course, Blake had to get some too. The boy loved the shoes! He would NOT take them off at nap! I figured since they were new it couldn't hurt.

Hopefully he won't want to wear them to bed because I don't know how I would get them over his footed jammies!!

I'm sure one day he will love that I put this picture on the net....

You can't see anything! And I did it to Andrew so it's only fair I do it to Blake! He's been doing really well going on the potty. I had to give it up for a while when he was sick those 2 weeks...but about two weeks ago we really started focusing back on using the potty again. He probably has an accident every other day, so we aren't completely there yet. The only time we use diapers now is sometimes at nap and night time. It's been nice though because this has all been him and not me pushing him. Way to go Blakers!!
