more snow pics...

Look at me...one post I'm saying I'm cutting back and now I'm posting two in one day!!
Tonight I tucked Andrew in bed, straightened up around the house, checked the weather outside ...AND IT WAS SERIOUSLY SNOWING! I RAN in Andrew's room (afraid it could stop at any moment) and got him dressed to go outside and play. He was SO excited...probably because he knew he was supposed to be in bed.
the front...

Our weak snowman. Andrew wanted him to have a hat and eyes. I didn't have much to work with tho!
It was fun! I don't know if I could deal with that every winter. I don't like all the wet clothes and stuff. But, we sure did enjoy it tonight.

it SNOWED!...FOR REAL!!!

Yesterday it snowed IN the house and today it snowed ON the house!! :) We are SO excited. We haven't seen snow if 4 YEARS! It was Christmas Eve and I was pregnant with Andrew.
I took the boys out in it this evening. I don't even have thick winter jackets because it rarely gets that cold here...so we didn't stay out long.
Anyway, here are some pics for my family who doubted me...

it SNOWED!!!

This week at school Andrew is working on the letter S. So, today at home we made snowmen and had a snowball fight! Here's Andrew getting pegged!!
And getting pegged again...
And Andrew throwing snowballs at Daddy and Blake... It was funny because Andrew and I gathered our snowballs all up and called Daddy into the play room. When he came in we started screaming and threw them at him. Andrew thought it was SO funny. Blake did NOT! We scared him and he started crying. So, he never got into the throwing of it but laughed at us pegging each other! It was a good day for this as it's rained ALL day long!! At least it will be colder tomorrow!!

slacker

Yeah, I'm slacking on the blog. I can't decide if I want to keep it...but have decided to cut back. Here are some pics I took this week...

Andrew painted and managed to get it on his nose when he decided to smell it!
Blake made less of a mess than Andrew did!
We went to see Santa this week. Andrew was SO excited..surprisingly! He cried when we left because he thought he was getting his presents then. It was funny. Blake didn't care much for him. Guess it wouldn't be Christmas without a kid crying on Santa's lap!
We went with the twins to see Santa. Blake did NOT want to be in the picture!
The kiddos sitting in this huge chair at the museum. Blake and Andrew look like they are being sucked into the chair!
And after that we went to the carousel. Blake LOVES it. He doesn't get a choice as to what animal he can ride on as Andrew ALWAYS has to ride on the frog!
So, that's about it. We are anxiously waiting on Christmas to get here. Can't believe it's almost here. The boys are at such a fun age that we are all going to really enjoy it. We are heading up to AR and I can't WAIT for them to play with all their cousins. They aren't going to know what to do with all the attention!!

turkey prints

Just figured I'd share our turkey prints we made. Blake only made one decent handprint. He did good tho. I really thought he was going to be a disaster!!!
Probably won't post again before Thanksgiving...so... Happy Thanksgiving!

all in a day...

Just sharing some pics from today....
Blake playing peek-a-boo.
Andrew striking a pose!
bath fun...
Blake thinks it's HILARIOUS when you pour water on his head. He's a mess!
I froze a car for Andrew to play with in the tub. He thought that was pretty cool!

Bashful Blake!

fort

I've been getting hate mail on my lack of blogging. So, I figured I'd post some pics of the new fort....well, it's not really new, Matt just added on to it.
Here's the old fort...

And the new fort...

side view...

inside view...

The inside isn't really finished. He still wants to make a chalkboard, hang up the phone and make a table...one that maybe folds up or something. If you look in the pic you can see those little benches..those store some of their toys.

Then he made a little sink/fridge/stove area that isn't completed either. Next to the white bowl we'll add nobs and draw circles for the burner. I'd also like to find a faucet.

and the windows...

When Matt started talking about adding on I couldn't see his vision. Finally I was like...just do it and hopefully it will turn out okay. :) Well, I think it turned out better than I expected! The boys LOVE it!! They play so well out there together. It's nice because I just open the door and out they go!! They actually play better out there when I'm not right there with them...not sure why. Anyway, there ya go!

halloween night

The boys were SO excited about trick-or-treating...okay, Andrew was. Can you tell by this picture? He actually stopped "flying" around the house and posed for me! He LOVED his costume!
Blake, on the other hand, HATED his! He didn't like the hat thingy on his head. Oh..and if you are wondering...he's supposed to be a lion. Matt said he looked like an Indian. Maybe that's why he was mad. Regardless, the boy didn't wear the head piece. Am I a bad mom because this picture seriously cracks me up!!!

Blake was much happier with it off! Not sure what Andrew is doing.

We had some friends come with us. Here's Gavin. He was a buzz too! Good thing Andrew didn't notice that Gavin had the high dollar buzz costume! :) They loved banging each other with their wings!

Baby Tiffany was a flower. She was a cutie!!

While we were out Andrew spotted a Zurg!! Zurg was kind enough to pose for the camera. Andrew was too busy trying to figure out how to shoot his laser at Zurg.
Blake was feeling much better yesterday so we hit up a few houses. He didn't really understand what was going on but he had a BLAST running with the big boys up to ring the doorbell.
The only one I didn't get a pic of was Luke. He was the cutest monkey!!

Anyway, the boys had a blast. We got home and I went through their candy, picked out what we like and gave the rest to the last kid that came to our house. I seriously don't need that junk in my house!

pumpkin carving

Today Matt carved our pumpkin. Andrew didn't have much to do with it. He didn't like all the "dirtiness" that it had inside it!Blake, sick Blake, was all about checking it out.

Daddy did all the work!
The final product...
Andrew is SO excited about trick-or-treating! I'm SO excited about having candy in my house..NOT! Andrew has a couple of friends coming over to go with him. We were going to do dinner and then go but Blake woke up with and ear infection and croup this morning. Hopefully he'll be feeling okay to at least hit one house!!
