The hardest time of the day for me is after nap. That's usually about 2:30 or 3 PM. I need something to entertain the boys with until dinner is ready. It's too hot to go outside and on Mondays the pool is closed. So, today I decided to bring the boy's table into the kitchen and pulled out the playdough...
Andrew loves playdough, but has trouble getting it flat so he can cut something out.
Blake didn't like the feel of playdough at all. It was funny. He did, however, enjoy chewing on the cutters.
B gave up the cutouts and decided to chow down on some goldfish.
And, he got a little camera shy...
Then we did a little coloring. Andrew was mad the white crayon wouldn't work on the white paper...go figure!

that's the hard part of the day for me too, but thankfully, j's still young enough to be fairly entertained. have you tried those toddler crayon things yet? they're real round and supposedly easy for little hands.

yeah, i've seen those crayons you're talking about but haven't bought them. i figure a little crayon won't hurt him. :)
That's the hard part of the say for me too! I usually make a pot of coffee and that's when J does his "school work". Mostly math problems. Sasha sleeps until 3:30 and then watch out for the little tornado! :) The boys are so darling.
Yes, baby tad is going bye bye. Sometimes I wish we had another one to pass some of this stuff down to!
nah they're non-toxic. i was just wondering if they were worth the money. j just has the regular skinny crayons and doesn't do too well with them. i need to get him some fatter ones.
